My time spent attending the RESA Home Staging Convention in San Francisco was very rewarding and invigorating and I’m anxious to apply everything I learned in my business. Just taking the time to slow down a bit and have dedicated time to think and plan and be inspired was so wonderful!
Here are a few highlights from the trip.
1. My favorite speaker of the day on Thursday was David Avrin. I can’t wait to read his book “It’s Not Who You Know, It’s Who Knows You!”
2. On Friday, The Realtor Panel of Experts included David Ames, a home stager who became a full time real estate agent. David claims that 98% of all homes on the market in the San Francisco area are staged! I am sure this practice will spread to the east – especially in Rochester! Just for fun, take a look at one of his listings for $769,000.
3. Sherwin Williams did a great presentation on their newest paint color combinations for 2013 on Saturday. Of the new pallets, Midnight Mystery is my favorite.
