The RESA Convention I recently attended in Las Vegas ended on a Friday evening and I was disappointed that my schedule did not allow me to attend the Las Vegas Market, which began on Monday. Market is a design convention with thousands of exhibitors showing all the latest furniture and accessories for decorating and design products.

I did get to hear HGTV’s Design Star Abby Vasek’s list of top decorating trends for 2015. She presented what she emphatically called “eye candy”, which inspired me to share some of my own picks of the top trends.

  1. Honeycomb patterns
  2. Lucite combined with metal or fabric
  3. Modern decor infused with primitive patterns and decor
  4. Organic elements such as turtle shells
  5. Geometrics, in art also
  6. Metals such as brass, chrome and especially rose gold
  7. Fur
  8. Geo Crystals
  9. Concrete
  10. Petrified Rock

Featured here are some great ideas and inspiration to bring the 2015 honeycomb trend into your home décor. There are countless fabrics available with a honeycomb pattern. My favorites are the deeply textured ones. (below)
