I often use the work of local artists in my staging and decorating projects. I love using Rachel Cordaro’s pieces to add color and interest to a room. Getting to know artists and their process is part of the fun of collecting fine art pieces. Rachel’s pleasant nature and her unique sense of style are reflected in her art. The above piece which is 24” x 48” is currently on loan to Act Two Home Staging and is available for purchase.
More about Rachel taken from her website.
“Rachel Cordaro was born in Rochester, NY in 1985. She graduated from Greece Arcadia in 2003 and is a self taught artist, who has developed her own style painting whimsical and vibrant flowers. Her floral paintings are created using acrylic paint on canvas. Rachel’s work can be seen and purchased at local and regional juried fine art shows, such as Fairport Canal Days, Keuka Arts Festival, Corn hill Arts Festival, Clothesline Arts Festival, Canandaigua Waterfront, Sonnenberg Arts at the Gardens, Rochester Public Market Artist Row, Letchworth Arts and Crafts Show and the Rochester Museum and Science Center Holiday Bazaar. Rachel’s art hangs in private collections stretching from Rochester to Michigan, California to North Carolina and on down to Florida.
