Decorating a Brooklyn Apartment

My son recently moved from San Francisco to the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn for a new job opportunity. This past weekend, I visited for the second time and got to see how all of the pieces that we ordered looked. This trip we worked on getting a few accessories and ordered some artwork and a woven leather chest. What a transformation from a big empty room with just a mattress! The table, chairs, stools and desk are all made from reclaimed wood and were purchased at a shop right around the corner from his apartment. Check back for another post on that company and another unique business that repurposes old metal into both decorative and functional art.
