Jamie Durie of the HGTV show The Outdoor Room visited Broccolo Garden Center over the weekend to talk about creating your own outdoor room. He is a great speaker with lots of infectious energy and is very passionate about everything green from plants and flowers to environmentally conscious living. He was very entertaining (with his Australian wit and humor) and informative while talking about his new book, his past projects (an impressive clientele) and how to extend your home into your backyard by creating an inviting, lush, functional outdoor space to be enjoyed year round. Broccolo Garden Center spans 40 acres and is full of a huge variety of plants and flowers and tools for creating your outdoor space. If you have no idea where to begin, they are there to assist you with picking out plants and flowers for your particular space. They also have lots of unique metal sculptures scattered throughout the grounds making for an enjoyable afternoon of fresh air and interesting sites.
