When my clients are looking for unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, I often turn to local artists. This time, it was John Grieco, Object Maker. While looking for an out of the ordinary dining table for a huge eat-in-kitchen, I met with John at his shop in Rochester’s Public Market. His creations from recycled metal and wood are amazing! They range from functional tables and chairs to strictly decorative pieces. In the many stacks of what others might call “junk” there is tons of inspiration.
The bar stool (below) was my favorite. Can’t you just picture this in a loft decorated with urban industrial pieces?
