During a home staging consultation I recommended that the wood trim on these cabinets be painted in order to give this kitchen an updated look. The homeowner’s budget was limited and they were very reluctant to invest any additional funds on this home that was priced in the low $100,000’s.  They thought it would be too expensive and that it would not have much of an impact.

I was up for the challenge so, with a drawer in hand, I took a trip to Sherwin Williams to find the best color match and proper finish to blend with the laminate cabinets. I contacted my painter and with a quote of $350.00 (including materials), my homeowners decided to go forward. Inexpensive brushed nickel knobs from Lowes finished off the job. A little paint can make a big difference!
